Since November 2008 DGFI is an operational analysis center (AC) of the International VLBI Service for Geodesy and Astrometry (IVS); before it was an associated analysis center. The operational status carries along the responsibility to analyze all standard (non-intensive) geodetic and astrometric observing sessions, e. g. IVS-R1 and -R4 types of session, with a timeliness of less than one day after the release of the database (version 4) or NGS-file at IVS data centers. The input for the combined IVS products is provided by singular normal equations in SINEX format and contains station coordinates and EOP. Radio source coordinates are taken from ICRF2 without adjustment and auxiliary parameters (clock and troposphere parameters) are reduced from the normal equations in advance. The combined IVS products and related information are maintained by the Bundesamt für Kartografie und Geodäsie (BKG).

DGFI used to develope an own LINUX version of the OCCAM VLBI data analysis software for routine analyses and research purposes. OCCAM was developed by various groups and authors since many years. At last, Oleg Titov (Geoscience Australia), Johannes Böhm (Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics, Vienna TU), and Volker Tesmer (former DGFI staff) were editing the code. Now, the development of OCCAM is not supported anymore at DGFI. Our VLBI analysis group has developed an own program, which is part of the DGFI Orbit- und geodätische Parameterbestiummungssoftware, DOGS-RI (Radio Interferometry). In close future the complete operational analysis will be performed with DOGS-RI.
