The combined adjustment of station coordinates together with Earth orientation parameters (EOPs) and low degree spherical harmonic coefficients of the Earth's gravity field is a big effort since there are high correlations between the parameters. Based on homogeneously processed data of the geodetic space techniques GPS, VLBI and SLR, the combination could be used to estimate all parameters in one common adjustment. Thereby, systematics in the techniques could also be identified.
A major focus is drawn on determining the relative weights of the techniques in the combination (e.g. variance component estimation). Also the influence of the temporal resolution of the estimated parameters is investigated. To improve the computation speed, parallel processing algorithms are used.
Additional subtasks are: - investigation of the effect of the station parameterization on consistently estimated parameters like the EOPs or the gravity field parameter
- consistent estimation of EOPs together with parameters of the satellite orbit
- investigation of the high-precise estimation of gravity field parameters
- consistent estimation of station coordinates, EOPs and gravity field parameter and their geophysical interpretation
 - Estimated normalized gravity field coefficients over a time span of 16.5 years from 1994.0 until 2010.5. The different DGFI solutions contain observationalo data to LAGEOS1 and LAGEOS2.
