DGFI is hosted by the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BAdW) in the buildings of the Munich Residenz. The best way to reach DGFI is by the Munich local rapid transport system (MVV). From Munich airport lines S1 and S8 go to Marienplatz, and there is a Lufthansa airport bus non-stop to Munich central railway station. From Munich central railway station there are all lines S1 - S8 to Marienplatz, and U4 and U5 to Odeonsplatz. Station Odeonsplatz is also a station of lines U3 and U6. The entrance is at Residenzstr. 1. The way from Marienplatz or Odeonsplatz is shown in the map below. Photos of the entrance are displayed above. Please note, car parking is not possible at DGFI!
